Joseph L. Harrington III focuses his civil practice on environmental, construction and business litigation matters, but also represents clients in contract, products liability, personal injury, real property related and transactional matters. His clients include individuals, corporations, trusts and unincorporated associations. Mr. Harrington has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in the trial courts of Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Maine, as well as clients before the U.S. District Court, District of Massachusetts. Mr. Harrington’s trial experience includes litigating at the state court level. He has also mediated and arbitrated cases covering a range of issues, and has prosecuted matters before administrative agencies and authorities. In addition, Mr. Harrington has been involved in briefing appeals to the Massachusetts Appeals Court and the Supreme Judicial Court. Prior to joining Giarrusso, Norton, Cooley & McGlone, P.C. in 2002, Mr. Harrington was associated with a firm where he specialized in business and product liability litigation and insurance defense.
